Lead Maintenance Technician
This role requires the use of a reliable personal vehicle to travel from apartment property to property. A truck or van is best.
Join a great team managing a portfolio of 10 small properties in the greater Orlando area! Properties range in size from 40 to 2 units.
Compensation: $25- $35 per hour + health insurance + paid vacations and holiday pay and other benefits.
Major Goals and Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Community Manager, you are responsible for:
- Use the Maintenance App to log work as it is completed
- Submit requests for parts and supplies to the manager to order
- Be On Call for after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Uphold Company policies
Essential Activities:
- Maintain a professional image and attitude
- Advise the Manager of maintenance problems and solutions
- Daily communication with the Manager to discuss progress, follow-up or complications regarding maintenance activities
- Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely fashion
- Learn all utility cut-offs
- Knowledge of EPA rules and regulations
- Maintain Maintenance Shop - Clean and organize every day as you go
- Provide superior customer service
- OSHA compliance
- Fair Housing Compliance
- Knowledge of ADA policies and procedures
- Risk Management adherence to ensure both resident, associate, and visitors’ safety as well as property safety
Prerequisite (education, experience):
Education
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 4+ years prior property maintenance experience or related field
- HVAC (EPA) Certification
- Strong communication skills
