Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and processing payments efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, assist with bussing, and support food preparation or kitchen staff when needed
- Uphold food safety standards by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and order accuracy
- Experience with serving in a fast-paced environment with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn about menu offerings is essential
