Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Driver/Detailer to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining vehicle cleanliness, assisting with vehicle movement, and supporting various detailing tasks within our auto detailing facility. Duties
- Operate standard passenger cars safely within the lot and facility grounds, including manual transmission vehicles when necessary
- Perform exterior washing of vehicles, including window tinting and vehicle exterior cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment
- Detail vehicle interiors, including cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, and windows to ensure a pristine finish
- Use cleaning equipment effectively for janitorial tasks related to the auto detailing facility and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the work area
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicles or equipment as needed, following safe work practices at all times
- Support vehicle movement around the lot or within the facility to facilitate customer service and operational efficiency
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness to uphold company standards and enhance customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Prior experience in auto detailing, car wash operations, or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Knowledge of safe work practices when handling cleaning chemicals, buffers, and automotive equipment
- Ability to operate standard passenger cars safely; experience with manual transmissions is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on vehicle appearance and cleanliness
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
