Hinderer Motor Company is growing and currently seeking a Honda Service Technician (All Levels) to join our team in Heath, Ohio.
Prior automotive technician experience is preferred for this position.
8 Hour Shift
Competitive Pay: Flat-rate compensation based on experience, certifications, and production
Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Up to $25,000 Retention Bonus
Up to $5,000 Referral Bonus for eligible positions
Ladder Pay Program: Earn an additional $1–$4 per hour based on monthly production

Previous automotive technician experience preferred
ASE certification preferred, but not required
Valid Driver’s License required
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Ability to operate diagnostic tools and service equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to repair orders and manufacturer standards
Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems
Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repair needs and maintain quality documentation

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of service technician experience preferred
- ASE Certification required
- B-level qualifications preferred, including Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for mechanical work
- Basic computer skills and ability to use diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to complete a background check and drug screening
- Must satisfy I-9 employment eligibility requirements
