We're seeking an experienced outside sales professional to manage and grow our customer base. If you have had experience in any of the following industries, you could be our ideal candidate - Industrial Equipment & Machinery, Truck & Fleet Equipment Sales, Construction & Heavy Equipment, Electrical/Mechanical Industrial Components, Manufacturing/Fabrication Supplies, HVAC/R controls & systems. This position is eligible to take part in the Sales Commission program.
As a sales representative at Hotsy Equipment you will play a key role in driving revenue and building client relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Building, developing, and managing existing customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to identify new business opportunities.
- Generating leads and engaging potential customers through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to present tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate pressure washers, parts washers, and floor scrubbers on-site
- Close sales and follow up on quotes (quick close cycle)
- Deliver equipment and chemicals using company trucks
- Secure new preventive maintenance (PM) service accounts
- Handle customer complaints and billing issues professionally
- Staying informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitor activities to effectively position Hotsy in the market and maintain a competitive edge.
- Ideal candidate will understand mechanical components, hydraulics, pumps, industrial engines and have a strong electrical aptitude.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-focused environment
Qualifications:
- Must reside locally — relocation candidates will not be considered
- Strong background in customer service and territory management
- Skilled in prospecting, trade negotiation, and product demonstration
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.

- No nights or weekends — consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
