Position Overview
Integrity Hospital Care (IHC) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our private hospitalist group and provide day OR overnight coverage for our hospitalized patients in New Jersey.
This is a full-time position designed for an advanced practice provider who is comfortable working independently in inpatient hospital medicine while having physician backup readily available when needed.
The typical census ranges from approximately 30–50 patients, with an average of 5–10 additional admissions per day and night. The day NP/PA will primarily be responsible for follow ups on admitted patients and assisting the on-call doctors with discharge planning, consults, and sometimes admissions. The night NP/PA will primarily be responsible for new admissions and responding to floor calls for established patients.
A physician is available for backup and consultation as needed. No procedures, code coverage, or rapid-response coverage is required. The facility’s ICU and step-down units are closed, allowing the overnight provider to focus specifically on the medical-floor patient population.
If you are an experienced inpatient NP or PA looking for a stable full-time day or night position and would like to become part of a physician-led hospital medicine group, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about joining IHC.
