Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a fresh environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational facilities by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Perform detailed floor care tasks including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors to uphold safety and aesthetic standards.
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently.
- Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to ensure timely repairs and uphold safety standards.
- Follow all health and safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial practices to protect yourself and guests.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service excellence is a plus.
- Experience managing custodial tasks in busy environments or hotel settings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices helps streamline operations and improve team efficiency.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
