CPA firm seeking a candidate with Experience in Accounting and/or auditing. Strong accounting, analytical, and communication skills required. CPA or CPA track preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- Proven experience in accounting and auditing
- Experience with Yellow Book and Uniform Guidance is a plus
- Proficiency with general ledger systems and accounting software; strong financial reporting and analytical skills are required
- Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS required; COSO, and GAGAS a plus
- Ability to perform external independent audits, document findings, and communicate results clearly
- Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
- Experience in governmental or non-profit accounting is a plus

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance across GAAP and applicable standards.
- Conduct external audits, testing controls, sampling transactions, and documenting findings with clear recommendations.
- Utilize accounting software and general ledger systems; analyze financial data and prepare management reports and financial commentary.
- Communicate audit findings and financial insights to management and governance committees
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
