We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) professional with strong STIM and EP procedural experience to serve as a Clinical Preceptor for a short-term training engagement in Davenport, Iowa.
The preceptor will work directly with an EP team to enhance clinical knowledge, procedural skills, and confidence across key EP lab roles. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EP specialist who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and leading hands-on training in a high-volume clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical preceptorship and hands-on training for team members in the Monitor (including STIM), Scrub, and Circulator roles.

Support a team of EP staff in developing deeper understanding of EP procedures and therapies.

Guide team members through case study preparation and post-procedure debriefs.

Collaborate with the Education Lead for ongoing training and troubleshooting.

Reinforce safe and effective EP lab practices aligned with current standards.

Participate in structured educational sessions (8 hours of didactic learning).
Qualifications

Proven Electrophysiology experience with advanced procedural knowledge.

STIM experience, preferably with Abbott’s Claris System.

Strong understanding of ablation, cardiac device implantation, and Watchman procedures.

Excellent communication, teaching, and mentoring skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Availability for the full 8–12 week contract term.

Previous experience as a clinical preceptor, educator, or trainer strongly desired

Relevant certification (RCES, RCIS, or RN with EP experience).
Schedule: Monday–Friday; no nights, weekends, or call requirements.
