Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Property & Guest Services Manager, maintains Yankee Candle Village’s physical facilities, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for guests and staff. Directs workflow for Property & Guest Servies workers and coordinates programs such as special projects and events within Yankee Candle Village.
Key Responsibilities:
Drives Flagship Store sales and provides exceptional guest service by utilizing company selling techniques. May assist with store safety and loss prevention.
Performs timely routine custodial, maintenance, and emergency work. Provides snow and ice removal and lawn landscaping maintenance. Troubleshoots potential issues for repairs and reporting purposes. Ensures adequate lighting is maintained.
Assists managers with workflow direction and training of Property & Guest Services staff.
Maintains a working relationship as liaison to other departments. Confers with Manager relative to maintenance requirement in all areas of responsibility.
Coordinates set up for various company events. Works with YCV personnel to plan, set up/breakdown, decorations and other requirements. Evaluates and provides feedback on event correctables.
·Follows all policies, procedures and standards of performance. Safely operates power tools and power equipment. Leads by example.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
