Studio Assistant (Part-Time)
The Dance Gallery is looking for a dependable, organized, and energetic Studio Assistant to join our team! This position plays a vital role in the daily operations of our studio by providing exceptional customer service, supporting our instructors and office staff, and helping create a welcoming environment for our students and families.

Position Details
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Hours: Approximately 25-30 hours per week
- Schedule: Tuesday-Friday - Afternoon/evening hours; Saturday mornings and occasional additional weekend hours for studio events.
Responsibilities and Customer Service:
- Greet students and families with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Create a welcoming first impression for everyone entering the studio.
- Answer and return phone calls and emails promptly when the Office Manager is unavailable.
- Maintain knowledge of studio policies, tuition, registration, and fees to assist families.
Studio Operations:
- Follow daily opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming lobby, studios, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Restock supplies including restroom items, coffee bar, and studio materials.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and high-touch areas.
- Organize and restock the studio boutique.
- Take out trash and maintain overall studio appearance.
Instructor Support:
- Assist instructors in a variety of dance classes for different ages and styles.
- Be available to substitute designated classes as needed (training provided).
- Help organize classroom supplies, props, mats, stickers, and hair ties.
- Sanitize studio equipment and teaching materials.
Recital & Event Support:
- Measure students for costumes.
- Organize costume control sheets.
- Assist with recital costume inventory and organization.
- Create recital costume books with photos and participant information.
- Assemble recital information packets.
- Support studio events including recitals, performances, community events, and seasonal celebrations.
Retail & Administrative Support:
- Updating inventory reports, unbox merchandise and restock the boutique.
- Notify management when supplies are running low.
- Maintain studio organization.
- Keep the front desk, teacher lounge, and shared spaces neat and organized.

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- dance: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
