We are seeking an experienced Lead Marine Technician to join our service team and play a critical role in delivering high-quality marine repair and maintenance services. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with deep technical expertise who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring others, and leading by example in a fast-paced environment.
As a key member of the team, you will serve as the go-to expert for diagnostics and technical troubleshooting while ensuring all work meets the highest safety and quality standards.
What you'll do:

Lead complex diagnostics and repairs across multiple marine systems, including diesel engines, electrical, and onboard systems

Act as the primary technical resource for technicians, answering questions and providing real-time troubleshooting support

Mentor and train junior technicians and new hires, helping develop skills and confidence on the job

Perform in-process inspections to ensure all work meets company, brand, and safety standards

Collaborate closely with Quality Control to resolve issues efficiently and effectively

Communicate job progress, risks, and changes in scope with the Service Team

Manage workload priorities to meet deadlines and proactively address delays

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while protecting customer property

Support job staging, documentation, and coordination with internal staff and subcontractors

Assist in creating accurate job estimates when needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on marine experience, including advanced diagnostics

Strong background working across multiple systems (diesel engines, electrical, mechanical, etc.)

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
