Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. Candidates will help ensure the smooth operation of our hotel through effective maintenance and repair tasks. This position requires an individual who can work both independently and as part of a team. Basic mechanical, carpentry, electrical, and or plumbing knowledge is helpful. Customer service skills are also necessary as this position also requires direct interactions with guests.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and facilities.
- Conduct repairs and painting to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guests requests promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects effectively.
- Minor grounds keeping
- Snow removal
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on quality work.
- Ability to complete projects without supervision.
- Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their skills during the interview process.
- Hours are primarily 1000-1800 and may include weekends. and some early or late hours depending on projects or weather.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Snow removal is a mandatory element of employment and may require hours to shift.
- Must pass background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
