Account Manager – PEO Benefits
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and strengthening strategic client relationships within the PEO co-employment model. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on benefits strategy, compliance, escalations, and workforce solutions while driving retention and long-term partnership success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of complex, high-value client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for strategic needs and escalations.
- Lead client conversations related to benefits strategy, renewals, ACA requirements, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Partner with Payroll, HR, Compliance, Benefits, and other internal teams to deliver effective client solutions.
- Analyze client trends, reporting, and benefit performance to identify opportunities, manage risk, and support informed decision-making.
- Resolve complex service issues while balancing client needs, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
- Support client retention efforts through proactive engagement, relationship management, and strategic planning.
- Identify opportunities to expand PEO services and strengthen client partnerships.
- Provide coaching and support to Benefits Specialist I and II team members on escalations and client matters.
- Support accurate onboarding and ongoing client administration to ensure a strong client experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of PEO
- Active insurance license required
- Experience managing complex client relationships, renewals, and escalated service issues.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead strategic discussions and influence client decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
