Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage food handling responsibilities, including sanitation, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation guidelines, bussing tables, and organizing supplies regularly.
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with integrity.
- Support food safety management protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing.
