Overview
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), medical terminology, and advanced imaging techniques. Duties
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them accurately, and assessing their physiological status.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems, including Epic and EMR platforms, documenting procedures accurately and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Maintain and troubleshoot medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with other diagnostic imaging modalities such as X-ray as needed.
- Uphold strict infection control practices through aseptic technique during invasive procedures or sterile environments.
Qualifications
- ARRT (MR)
- Proven experience as an MRI Technologist with strong proficiency in MRI operations and related diagnostic imaging modalities.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Competence in operating medical equipment safely while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety guidelines.
- Experience managing electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or EMR platforms; familiarity with PACS is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate documentation and patient care.
