Boudreaux Monument Company is looking for a dependable, hardworking Monument Setter / Installer to join our team.
This is a skilled trade that combines heavy equipment operation, construction skills, and precision craftsmanship. Every monument you install represents a family’s lasting tribute to someone they love. We are looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
Position Overview
As a Monument Setter, you will be responsible for delivering and installing granite monuments in cemeteries throughout the region. This position involves operating trucks, trailers, cranes, and construction equipment while ensuring every memorial is installed safely, accurately, and professionally.Responsibilities-Deliver monuments to cemeteries safely and professionally.
-Operate trucks, trailers, cranes, and other equipment.
-Excavate and prepare monument foundations.
-Set monuments level, square, and to company quality standards.
-Mix and pour concrete foundations when required.-Work respectfully with cemetery personnel and visiting families.
-Inspect monuments for quality before installation.
-Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
-Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and organized.
-Follow all safety procedures.
-Assist with shop sandblasting procedures, etc. when necessary.
Qualifications
-Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
-Mechanical aptitude.
-Construction, concrete, masonry, landscaping, or heavy equipment experience is a plus.
-Ability to lift 100 pounds and perform physically demanding work outdoors.
-Excellent attendance and punctuality.
-Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
