Duties
- Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide expert guidance on firearm products and accessories
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features, safety mechanisms, and proper handling techniques
- Assist customers with POS (Point of Sale) transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Promote upselling of related products such as ammunition, accessories, or safety gear to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory
- Educate customers on firearm laws, safety protocols, and responsible ownership practices
- Manage inventory levels through stocking activities and assist in product ordering when necessary
- Uphold strict adherence to all safety regulations, legal requirements, and store policies during every interaction
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially within grocery stores or specialty retail environments
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of firearms or related products is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
