DESCRIPTION:
JKRP Architects is seeking a qualified designer with 2-5 years of experience to join our talented team at our Philadelphia office. This is a hybrid position with employees required to be in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for portraying the culture, relationships, and services of the firm while maintaining JKRP’s brand identity through communications such as the firm's website, email blasts, and social media. This role will receive direction from and work closely with the Marketing Manager to support JKRP’s marketing efforts. Occasionally you assist on client & neighborhood presentations to illustrate design intentions and graphically organize information. Experience within, or general understanding of, the architectural industry is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and produce marketing collateral across print and digital platforms, including brochures, email blasts, social media, advertisements, and other promotional materials
- Maintain and update the firm's marketing resources, including project library materials, staff bios, and brand assets.
- Assist architectural team with post-processing renderings and presentation graphics
- Provide design support for marketing campaigns, business development initiatives, recruiting efforts, and internal firm communications and events.
- Design wayfinding and branding systems for various architectural developments
- Create custom proposals, qualification packages, and pursuit submissions in collaboration with project leads.
- Work with project teams to develop presentations for new client pursuits, consultant pitch meetings, as well as various community zoning presentations.
- Coordinate the design, production, and procurement of JKRP branded merchandise, business cards, holiday cards, project boards, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or similar
- Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, & Illustrator
- Strong sense of design and typography
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic knowledge in Wordpress/web design
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and email automation tools like Constant Contact
- Knowledge in After Effects and/or 3D modeling is a plus
