Vita Roofing is hiring a Job Site Superintendent to run our roofing installs in the field. You own the job site — crews on time and working to standard, quality controlled, materials verified, and problems solved on the spot. This is a hands-on, long-hours field role for someone who leads crews directly, holds a high standard, and keeps a clean, safe, professional site from start to final walkthrough.

Key Responsibilities
- Run install days — crews on site, on time, producing to Vita's quality standard
- Manage roofing crews directly on the job site
- Quality control: workmanship, code compliance, cleanup, and safety
- Verify material deliveries (correct product, quantity, and condition)
- Solve field problems in real time; escalate only what can't be handled on site
- Photo-document job progress and report status to the office
- Maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant site at all times
- Keep crews accountable to pace, standards, and professionalism
- Final walkthrough and punch list before job closeout
- Represent Vita professionally to homeowners on site
What Success Looks Like
- Week 1: Learn Vita's install standards, crews, workflow, and CRM. Shadow and run sites alongside oversight.
- Week 2: Running job sites independently — crews on time, to standard, reporting daily.
- Day 30+: Owning field production end to end — clean sites, minimal callbacks, reliable reporting. This is a fast ramp. It requires someone who has already run roofing crews as a lead or superintendent.
Required Qualifications
- Roofing or construction field experience
- Crew lead or superintendent experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of roofing install standards and jobsite safety
- Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities in a single day
- Clear communication with crews, office, and homeowners
- Problem-solving under pressure
- Reliable, accountable, comfortable with long hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Able to work on roofs and lift/carry materials
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) for crew communication
- OSHA 10/30 certification
- Insurance / storm restoration experience
- Familiarity with field reporting / CRM tools (RoofLink or similar)

Who Will Not Fit
Not a fit for someone who avoids accountability, can't manage crews, lets standards slip, or needs constant direction. We expect ownership, not excuses.
Work Environment
Field-based on active roofing job sites. Outdoor work in variable weather, on roofs, fast-paced, long hours, customer-facing. Travel to job sites up to 2 hours from Fargo across the ND/MN service area. Company vehicle use available after eligibility period.
