We are seeking a dedicated and responsible School Van Monitor to ensure the safe, smooth, and positive transportation experience for students during their daily commute. Responsibilities
- Supervise students during transportation, ensuring they board and disembark safely and orderly
- Enforce school policies related to student conduct and transportation safety regulations
- Manage student behavior using effective conflict management and behavior management techniques, especially for students with special needs or disabilities
- Assist students with physical disabilities or special education needs to ensure their comfort and safety during transit
- Communicate clearly with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation procedures and concerns
- Conduct regular safety checks of the vehicle, including evacuation procedures and emergency readiness drills
- Handle confidential information responsibly, including student records or behavioral reports, in compliance with privacy policies
