KRT, Inc. is seeking experienced, safety-focused Class A CDL Heavy Haul Drivers to join our growing team. We specialize in transporting heavy equipment and oversized loads for the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities
- Safely transport oversized and overweight oilfield equipment.
- Secure loads in compliance with DOT and company standards.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete daily logs, inspection reports, and required documentation.
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment when required.
- Operate in varying weather and field conditions while maintaining a professional attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable heavy haul and/or oilfield driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Current DOT Medical Certificate.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service.
- Experience hauling heavy equipment, drilling rigs, workover rigs, construction equipment, or oilfield machinery is highly preferred.
- Ability to safely operate manual transmissions.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Preferred Experience
- Oversize/Overweight load experience.
- Winch truck or lowboy experience.
- Oilfield operations and lease road driving.
- Knowledge of load securement techniques.
- PEC Basic Orientation Card (preferred but not required).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Climb on and off trailers and equipment safely.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and secure loads.
