Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of fire sprinkler inspection and service teams, ensuring timely completion of scheduled inspections and maintenance.
- Oversee the installation, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems, including system design modifications when necessary.
- Conduct detailed inspections using blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings to verify system integrity and compliance with local codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and low voltage requirements.
- Coordinate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform system adjustments, repairs, or replacements efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, schematics, and system modifications for compliance audits and client records.
- Develop and deliver training on fire sprinkler fitting procedures, system design principles, and safety protocols to team members and clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting, system design, or related field service roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base and must have a sprinkler managers license.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and CAD drawings accurately; familiarity with schematics related to fire alarm systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction inspection processes and electrical experience related to low voltage systems such as sensors and alarm panels.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and fire alarm components; familiarity with sensors and alarm system sales is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of NEC standards, fire sprinkler codes, and safety regulations governing fire protection systems.
- Excellent field service skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues on-site efficiently.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members; leadership qualities for managing a team are preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
