About the Opportunity
CSG Operations LLC, doing business as Mr. Handyman of La Jolla – Coastal San Diego, is building its founding field team and looking for an experienced, multi-skilled home maintenance professional.
This position is for the person who is excellent at walking into a home or property, figuring out what is actually wrong, developing a practical solution and getting the job completed cleanly and efficiently.
We handle the marketing, scheduling, customer acquisition, invoicing and administrative work. You focus on solving problems and delivering an excellent customer experience.
What You’ll Do
Your anchor strength will be general home maintenance, troubleshooting and punch-list work, including:

Doors, hardware and general carpentry repairs

Drywall patching and paint touch-up work
-
Cabinet, shelving and fixture installation
-
Property-maintenance and turnover punch lists
-
Assembly and installation projects
-
General residential and light commercial repair work
-
Minor fixture replacement and related maintenance work when appropriate within company licensing, procedures and assigned scope
We are looking for a broadly capable handyman, not a narrow single-trade specialist.
What We’re Looking For

5+ years of paid professional experience in property maintenance, remodeling or comprehensive home repair; 7+ years strongly preferred

Strong troubleshooting ability

Broad competency across multiple home-repair categories

Ability to complete work efficiently without unnecessary material runs or repeated callbacks

Professional hand and power tools appropriate for the position

Strong communication with homeowners and property managers

Meticulous cleanup and respect for occupied homes

Comfort with mobile technology, photos and job documentation

Valid California driver's license and ability to meet company and insurer driving requirements

Ability to satisfy job-related background and driving-record requirements consistent with applicable law
