CDL Class A or B Driver

Position Overview:
J.R.’S is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Class A or B Driver to operate equipment such as dry van trailers, dump trailers, roll-off trucks, box trucks, and forklifts. This position is essential to our operations, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of materials.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Safely operate dry van trailers, dump trailers, roll-off trucks, and box trucks
- Load and unload materials using a forklift and/or two-wheel dolly
- Adhere to all safety protocol and company policies
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and pickups
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
- Assist with other duties as needed to support the team
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A or B License
- 6 months of experience with dry van trailers, dump trailers, roll-trucks, and dock trucks (can train the right candidate without CDL)
- Good driving record with no major violations or accidents (some restrictions apply)
- Must pass DOT physical, drug test, and road test
- Speak English and ability to write clearly
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Proficient use of communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
