Role summary:
As a Senior Product Manager for Seller Onboarding Risk, you will own products that determine who can sell on Walmart Marketplace. You’ll build intelligent, AI-powered onboarding and risk capabilities that enable fast, frictionless seller activation while protecting customers and the marketplace from fraud and abuse. Partnering with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations, and Compliance, you’ll solve complex problems at massive scale and shape the future of trust for one of the world’s largest online marketplaces.

The Marketplace Trust team is building the intelligence layer that enables Walmart Marketplace to scale with confidence. Our mission is to make Walmart the most trusted marketplace by creating products that balance seller growth with customer trust. We own the end-to-end seller risk journey—from onboarding and identity verification through lifecycle monitoring, enforcement, and AI-powered decisioning. As part of this team, you’ll build innovative products that reduce risk, improve seller experiences, and help shape the future of trust across one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing marketplaces.
What you'll do:
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Seller Onboarding Risk.

Build AI-powered onboarding experiences that balance trust, compliance, and seller growth.

Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Operations, and Compliance to deliver scalable solutions.

Drive improvements in seller activation, onboarding conversion, fraud detection, and automated decisioning.

Define product requirements, success metrics, and experimentation strategies using data and customer insights.

Collaborate with ML teams to enhance identity verification and risk models.

Translate emerging fraud trends into innovative product capabilities.

Influence cross-functional stakeholders and execute products that protect customers while enabling trusted sellers to succeed.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience building digital products at scale.

Experience in marketplace, fintech, fraud, identity, risk, trust & safety, or compliance products.

Proven ability to own products from strategy through execution and launch.

Experience partnering with Engineering, Data Science, and Design in an agile environment.

Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive product decisions.

Experience building AI/ML-powered products or leveraging machine learning to improve customer experiences.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
