VIVA Railings, a leader in Architectural Railing Systems, is seeking an experienced Lead Warehouse Inventory Clerk at our Lewisville, TX headquarters. As the Warehouse Lead at Viva Railings, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations. This includes ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of our railing products, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Job Duties include but not limited to:
1. Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of railing systems and components. Ensure accurate tracking, stocking, and reordering of materials to avoid shortages or excesses.
2. Logistics Coordination: Manage the receipt, storage, and timely distribution of railing materials. Coordinate with suppliers and transportation services for efficient delivery schedules.
3. Quality Control: Ensure that all products stored in the warehouse meet Viva Railings' quality standards. Inspect incoming materials and manage returns or exchanges of defective products.
4. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the warehouse team. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and efficiency.
5. Safety Compliance: Implement and monitor safety protocols in the warehouse. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
6. Warehouse Optimization: Continuously seek ways to improve warehouse operations, including layout optimization, process improvements, and cost reduction strategies.
7. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and logistics efficiency to upper management.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing warehouse facility
- 2 years of experience in a lead warehouse
- Proficient in warehouse management systems and MS Office.
- Forklift experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
