Position Summary:
We are looking for a driven, operationally savvy Internal TPO Processing Account Manager who will partner closely with our TPO brokers and correspondents—owning the file lifecycle from submission through closing while acting in an Account Executive capacity to deepen relationships, drive volume and elevate service standards. This role straddles operations + sales: you’ll ensure loan files move efficiently while acting as the trusted point‑of‑contact for partners, positioning TheLender AI as their preferred platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of broker/ correspondent partners: serve as main liaison for partner onboarding, pipeline management, issue resolution and performance tracking.
- Own the loan file lifecycle: monitor submissions, track milestones, ensure documentation completeness, collaborate with underwriting/closers/funding to hit timeline targets.
- Present TheLender AI value propositions around processing efficiency, technology integration and partner ROI; educate and engage broker partners accordingly.
- Forecast and report on partner pipeline metrics, file volume, turn‑time, close ratios, and service KPIs.
- Identify bottlenecks or process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives with product/operations teams.
- Maintain deep knowledge of mortgage products (Conventional, FHA, VA, Correspondent, Non‑QM) and regulatory/ investor guidelines.
- Meet or exceed partner growth, retention and satisfaction goals; proactively engage to expand partnership scope.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in mortgage lending processing/operations or TPO account management; experience working with brokers/correspondents is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volume pipelines, multiple files, deadlines and moving parts while maintaining accuracy and service excellence.
- Strong sales acumen: comfortable presenting, influencing partner decisions, and driving business growth in addition to managing operations.
- Excellent communication, relationship management and problem‑solving skills.
- Tech‑savvy and quick to adopt new systems/LOS environments; able to translate technical/operational details into partner‑friendly language.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced, scaling environment.
