Position Overview
JUS Official Services is seeking a proactive Firm Acquisition Scout responsible for identifying businesses that may be interested in operating under the JUS Official Services brand, entering into strategic partnerships, or being acquired through flexible acquisition structures.
This role focuses on sourcing businesses that are seeking succession plans, ownership transitions, operational support, growth opportunities, or exit strategies. The Firm Acquisition Scout serves as the first point of contact, identifying opportunities and introducing qualified businesses to company leadership for further evaluation.
This is a commission-only independent contractor position with uncapped earning potential based on successfully sourced acquisition and partnership opportunities.
Core Objective
Your primary responsibility is to:
- Identify businesses that may be interested in joining the JUS Official Services ecosystem.
- Source businesses interested in acquisition, strategic partnerships, or brand affiliation.
- Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Generate qualified acquisition opportunities for company leadership.
- Expand the company's portfolio through strategic business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify businesses that align with JUS Official Services' acquisition strategy.
- Conduct outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, networking events, referrals, and direct meetings.
- Build relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers.
- Introduce acquisition and partnership opportunities professionally and ethically.
- Gather preliminary business information for internal review.
- Qualify opportunities before referring them to company leadership.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects and communications.
- Coordinate introductions between qualified businesses and company representatives.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding acquisition discussions.
- Represent JUS Official Services professionally at all times.
Qualifications

Compensation
This is a commission-only independent contractor (1099) position.
Firm Acquisition Scouts earn compensation based on:
- Successfully sourced acquisition opportunities that progress to completed transactions.
- Qualified strategic partnership agreements.
- Businesses successfully onboarded under the JUS Official Services brand.
- Performance bonuses for high-value acquisitions or partnership opportunities.
Specific commission structures are outlined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.
There is no hourly wage, salary, employee benefits, paid time off, or guaranteed income.
Independent Contractor Status
This role is offered exclusively as a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
Contractors are responsible for their own outreach tools, communication systems, taxes, travel expenses, and other business expenses. This role does not establish an employer-employee relationship.
To comply with applicable laws, JUS Official Services does not accept applicants residing in California or other jurisdictions where this contractor model is not legally supported or compliant.
Background Check Requirement
All applicants must successfully complete a criminal background check prior to onboarding.
Failure to successfully complete the required screening may result in disqualification.

- Number of strategic partnership opportunities generated
- Businesses successfully referred to leadership
- Completed acquisitions or partnership agreements
