American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position at a Level III Trauma, 154-bed hospital in Paris, TX, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience including labor management and cesarean section circulation.

9-bed Labor & Delivery unit at a 154-bed Level III Trauma hospital with a Level 1 NICU
-
Serves patients of all ages with diagnoses including labor, pre-term labor, vaginal delivery, cesarean section, and pregnancy complications
-
Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity

Equipment includes external fetal monitoring (EFM), IV pumps, and NIBP
-
EMR systems used are GE Centricity and Meditech
-
Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Floating required on an as-needed basis

On-call required on an as-needed basis

13-week contract

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Required certifications (AHA): BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN, and HWC

Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience

Proficiency in labor management, OB triage, and circulating for cesarean sections

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays

Hospital-provided scrubs; unnatural hair color and casual wear are not permitted

Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
