Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients according to physician orders
- Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment
- Capture clear and accurate diagnostic images
- Analyze images for quality and identify normal and abnormal findings
- Maintain patient records and imaging documentation
- Follow safety, sanitation, and HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff
- Ensure patient comfort and professionalism during examinations
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Certification through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent preferred
- State licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and technical proficiency
- Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments
