Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Host/Cashier to join our team at China Buffet. You will be responsible for greeting guests, collecting payments, answering phone calls, assisting customers with questions, and managing reservations. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, enjoys working with people, and can multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests with a friendly attitude.
Seat guests promptly and efficiently.
Process customer payments accurately.
Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant.
Take and manage reservations.
Assist guests with menu and pricing questions.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure excellent customer service.
Qualifications
Friendly and professional customer service skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Basic cash handling and POS experience is a plus.
Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Pay: $17.25 - $22.00 per hour
