Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards.
- Manage shift schedules, coordinate team assignments, and ensure proper staffing levels for busy periods.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests leave with a positive impression.
- Supervise food and beverage service, including food preparation oversight when necessary, to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels related to front-of-house supplies and assist in stock control to minimize waste.
Requirements
- Proven experience in family friendly dining & higher end restaurant management, with a strong background in food service management.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems like Square or Toast POS is highly desirable.
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and kitchen management basics.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for managing staff, interacting with guests, and collaborating across departments.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
