Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, quality control processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Doffing procedures and operating winder.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize tooling effectively for various production tasks.
- Perform housekeeping duties in area as needed including 3rd floor, behind assigned line and empty trash.
- Must be able to differentiate different color schemes for product accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
Skills
- Computer skills needed.
- Experience in quality control processes to ensure high standards of production.
- Ability to work on an assembly line efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Knowledge of tooling techniques relevant to machining and assembly operations.
- Experience in creeling is a plus but not mandatory.
