American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and Level 1 Trauma neuro experience.

Work in an Interventional Radiology unit with 3 procedure rooms
-
Full staff model of 2 technologists per procedure room, rotating scrubbing and circulating duties
-
Uses Siemens equipment and Epic EMR
-
Day shift schedule with options of 9-hour shifts (0800-1730) for 36 hours or 40-hour schedules (0800-1430 or 0700-1730)
-
Weekends are call-only
-
Call requirements of 1-2 weeknights per week and every 6th weekend (Fri-Sun)

No floating required to other units, though a 25-mile float policy applies between facilities as needed
-
Minimum 2 years of experience plus travel experience required

ARRT RT (R) certification and BLS required
-
License required if applicable
-
Neuro experience required, including stroke and neuro interventions
-
Level 1 Trauma experience required

VI Certification preferred
-
Epic EMR experience

Driver's License required for consideration

Scrubs are provided

No open-toe shoes or shoes with holes permitted

Candidates should be hardworking, flexible, team players who are punctual, dependable, and self-motivating

RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days being a reasonable amount for the 13-week contract, at the manager's discretion

Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit

Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility will be considered local and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
