Duties
- Engage in outside sales efforts to identify and develop new insurance clients through prospecting and networking.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend appropriate insurance policies tailored to individual client requirements.
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction while adhering to company guidelines.
- Manage sales administration tasks, including processing applications, policy documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining policy options, and assisting with claims processes.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote insurance products across various channels, including telemarketing campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations such as HIPAA and industry standards while handling sensitive customer information.
- Assist in benefits administration for clients, explaining coverage options and updates effectively.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to foster long-term relationships and identify opportunities for additional coverage.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related industries.
- Strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills—bilingual abilities are highly desirable—to serve diverse client bases effectively.
- Proficiency in sales administration tools and analysis skills to interpret market data and customer needs accurately.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to insurance products and customer engagement techniques.
- Customer service expertise with a focus on building trust and delivering personalized solutions.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and benefits administration processes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and organizational skills. Pay: $32,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
