Tallawah Global Logistics LLC is currently seeking an experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) Box Truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over long distances, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the safety and integrity of the cargo.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Operate a 26-foot box truck to transport goods over long distances.
Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
Load and unload cargo as needed, with the majority of freight being no touch (90%).
Provide basic mechanical assistance, such as changing lightbulbs or minor repairs, when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
REQUIREMNTS:
Valid CDL(Class C or higher )license with a clean driving record
Valid DOT medical card
Proven experience as an OTR truck driver.
Ability to be on the road for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time.
Willingness to drive at least 3000 miles per week.
Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
