Recruiter – Construction Staffing
$55,000–$100,000+ (Base + Commission | Uncapped Earning Potential)
Structured Trades is looking for a driven, high-energy Recruiter to join our growing team in Austin.
We're a fast-growing skilled trades staffing company specializing in the commercial construction industry. We need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands full-cycle recruiting, and isn't afraid to think outside the box to find top talent.
This isn't your typical recruiting position. Construction starts early, our clients move fast, and we're looking for someone who can keep up.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through placement
- Source candidates using traditional and creative recruiting methods
- Post and manage job advertisements across multiple platforms (Indeed, Craigslist, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Recruit through referrals, networking, cold outreach, and field recruiting
- Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews
- Properly vet candidates for skill level, reliability, and culture fit
- Coordinate onboarding including background checks, drug screens, and new hire paperwork
- Maintain accurate candidate records within our ATS/CRM
- Manage multiple open job orders simultaneously
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
- Follow up with employees after placement to improve retention
- Work closely with Workforce Managers and Sales to fill positions quickly
- Attend hiring events, job fairs, and networking opportunities to build candidate pipelines
What We're Looking For
- Previous recruiting experience required (construction staffing preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting
- Comfortable working in a high-volume recruiting environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Coachable and eager to learn construction trades and client needs
- Comfortable working in-office Monday-Friday
- Flexible schedule when business demands require early mornings or after-hours recruiting

- Skilled trades or construction staffing
- Staffing agency recruiting
- High-volume recruiting
- ATS/CRM experience (Bullhorn, Avionté, TempWorks, JobDiva, Salesforce, etc.)
- Recruiting through multiple sourcing platforms and social media
