Fatherhood Class Facilitator/Employment Coordinator

About the Role: Passages is seeking a motivated Class Facilitator/Employment Coordinator to lead workforce development and fatherhood programming for adults working to achieve stability and long-term employment. This role includes facilitating evidence-based classes, supporting participants one-on-one, and building employer partnerships. Evening availability is required to deliver fatherhood programming and group sessions that meet participant needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate weekly group workshops using evidence-based workforce and fatherhood curricula.
- Meet individually with participants to develop career plans aligned with their IDP.
- Provide support with job readiness, resume creation, career exploration, and job placement.
- Build and maintain strong employer and community partnerships.
- Connect participants to internships, training opportunities, and job openings.
- Conduct follow-up with employers and participants to support job retention.
- Deliver individualized services in financial literacy and employment readiness.
- Track attendance, program participation, employment outcomes, and all client contacts in data systems.
- Collaborate closely with internal staff for coordinated participant support.
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, to ensure accessibility of fatherhood programming and group sessions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in job development, workforce development, sales, marketing, or group facilitation.
- Experience facilitating curricula (fatherhood or parenting programs preferred).
- Knowledge of Northeast Ohio workforce or social service systems is a plus.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and motivational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common software.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
