Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and professional Automotive Technician withexperience to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to quality, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes and brake services.
- Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective vehicle components.
- Test vehicle systems after completing repairs to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain accurate repair records for invoicing and customer support.
- Communicate with service advisors regarding diagnosed issues, required repairs, and repair timelines.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, safe, and operational.
- Stay current with new automotive technologies, repair methods, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Automotive technician experience.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing passenger cars and light-duty vehicles in an automotive service/repair shop environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
