This role will provide diabetes education services for CentraCare Diabetes Center and Endocrinology clinic. Y ou will work with patients at all stages of their diabetes journey, in both an individual or small group setting to teach medication management and lifestyle and behavior changes. You will also work with diabetes technology including sensors and pumps. Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs, participates in professional organizations, subscribing to the reading professional journals or other appropriate activities.
Schedule:
- Part-time | 40 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
Day shift | 8am-4:30pm | Monday - Friday

Pay and Benefits:
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $39.87 per hour
- Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $41.25 per hour
- Master’s in nursing starting at $42.62 per hour
- Pay range: $39.87-66.52 per hour

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in nursing; or bachelor's degree BS, BA in Nutrition/Dietetics/Nutrition Science required, master's preferred
- 2 years Minimum of successful clinical experience in specialty area and demonstrated competence in teaching, orientation, leadership and communication
- Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required
- National Certification as a Certified Diabetes Educator through National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators required within two years of hire
- Diabetes experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy
