A&P LINE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - TPA ( FULL-TIME)

**Training will be provided within first 6 months on at least one of the following: A320, A330, B737 and B767. **

JOB SUMMARY: The A&P Mechanic is responsible to perform aircraft maintenance and/or repairs within estimated time in accordance with applicable JET Aircraft Maintenance, Inc., FAA, and customer standards of quality. This includes organizing his/her work plan in an efficient and resourceful manner. JET offers continuous learning and growth opportunity for your career! We will provide technical training through the course of your employment with a GUARANTEE to receive at least one technical training within your first 6 months. Pay commensurate with experience and verified training certifications.
JOB DUTIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
- Become familiar with and follow the requirements of the Repair Station Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, airworthiness directives, advisory circulars, manufacturers' service bulletins and any other guidelines required to perform assigned work.
- Perform such typical maintenance operations as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torqueing, adjusting, rigging and safety wiring to include powerplant and flight control removal/installation.
- Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, replace and/or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved data to ensure airworthiness.
- Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform work within estimated hours.
- Follow all safety procedures and specifications.
- Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.
- Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner.
- Work with little or no supervision and accomplish assignments with little or no rework.
- Assist other employees in the performance of their job assignments.
- Interface effectively with members of management, other departments and co-workers.
QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (License)
- Must provide own tools as indicated on company tool list
- Language: Read, Write, Speak and understand English. Spanish is a plus
- Data Entry: Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Work, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to pass a 10-Year Background investigation
- Ability to obtain Airport Badges with US Customs Seal
- Ability to pass pre-employment/random drug screening
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Possess clean driving record
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, flexible shifts (24/7 operation)
- Must provide experience and training certificates with resume
- MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 80 HOURS OF CERTIFICATED TRAINING ON: B737//767/777 or A320/330/340/350 or E190
- PREFERRED: Two (2) years recent aircraft maintenance experience on heavy transport aircraft
