Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive guest relations.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using phone, POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Upsell menu items by highlighting specials or premium menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions, process sales accurately, and manage POS systems with proficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure seamless service.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS; experience with door dash and menufy is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling bills and sales transactions; understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is essential.
We are looking for someone looking to work 10:30am to 2:30pm. Days are flexible as we are looking for 2 individuals for this position. Potential for additional hours if business needs evolve.
