MontAsia is one of Montana's best restaurants, one of the best gin bars in the world, and a fun, happy, bustling place to work. We're right in the heart of tiny Fishtail, MT- a great place to be every day. Fishtail Family Park is right across the street; Rosebud Isles park, with river access, camping, and a great little walking road is a few hundred yards away. Montana's oldest General Store is a few doors down.
Chef Lee is one of MT's most-recognized Chefs, with a James Beard nod and an appearance on Chopped and in several podcasts and YouTube travel vids. We have great food, great reviews, and a great little team. We're only hiring right now because we're growing exponentially year over year, especially in 2026, and our daughter is moving to NYC for studies, so we're replacing her full-time help.
We're looking for a full-time server.
Deets
- With paid training, we'll get you trained in our friendly, famous style of service.
- Experience? Great, we'd love to talk about that.
- No experience? Trainability, attitude, being a productive, fun team member, being reliable, and effort are just as important to us.
- You have to use / be trained to use Toast, our Point of Sale system. Ditto for our scheduling system.
- We tip out every night in cash, no two-week tip outs or mystery math.
- We use an automated direct deposit payroll system so you get paid on time every time.
- We "close" or at least severely restrict hours and cut food service, from December 8th until February 8th every year. It's a great time to take vacays, and it ensures you NEVER have to work on NYE or Christmas etc. If you need money during those times, we also offer some bar shifts, and a lot of in-house, behind the scenes projects, some employees have taken advantage of this so that they don't see much of a reduced pay during those times.
The restaurant industry has changed a lot in the past few years, and it's a great career option now. The pay has changed a lot. We'd love to talk to you about making this your new home.
