American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Wound Care position in Alaska, requiring at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in wound VAC therapy and mechanical debridement.

Wound Care unit in a hospital setting

Adult patient population

Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)

Pyxis medication dispensing system

Cerner EMR documentation system
-
13-week contract
-
Active Alaska (AK) RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
Wound Care Certified (WCC) preferred; WOCN certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of wound care RN experience required

Proficiency in mechanical debridement and wound VAC therapy required

Trauma Level II experience preferred

Cerner EMR experience
-
Responsible for wound care management including mechanical debridement and wound VAC therapy for adult patients

2 treatment rooms in the wound care unit
-
Trauma Level II facility preferred background

Navy blue scrubs required
