Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and price lanes for customers via spot, contracted or annual terms to maximize gross margins.
- Aggressively pursued all freight through customer maintenance and interactions via spot boards, emails or phone communication for account growth.
- Access and execute solutions for customers immediately to avoid missing out on opportunities.

Maintain regular contact and build partnerships with the customers to determine other opportunities.

Study and understand the market trends and seasonality.

Build strong partnerships and logistical customer support while working with carrier coverage team.
- Will be responsible for load building and scheduling along with supporting any additional requirements for the customer.

Proactively communicate any service issues, delays, etc. with the customer as needed in timely manner.
Required Qualifications:

2-3 years of transportation and logistics experience required

Must be comfortable on the phone in high sales environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Basic computer skills; Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel, along with good math skills
-
Bachelor’s degree is a plus – not required.
