No prior acquisition or multi-entity accounting experience required. We will teach it. What we are looking for is someone who has worked through complexity before and wants variety, not routine.
A bit about us:
-
We are a private equity-backed professional services firm headquartered in downtown Minneapolis with offices in several states. We have been in business for decades, and we are in the most active growth period in our history: acquiring companies, entering new markets, and building the finance infrastructure to support both. That makes this an unusual moment to join our corporate accounting team. You are not inheriting a perfect process. You are helping build an evolving one, with a direct line to the CFO and controller as the business scales.
We are also not a place people pass through. It is common here for people to build 20+ year careers. Leadership funds professional development and supports internal moves when someone raises their hand. Low ego, high initiative, and a team small enough that your work is visible.
This role is deliberately broad. You will move between acquisition and integration work, payroll accounting and close, audit support, and special projects that change as the business does. If you want a predictable monthly cycle, this is not the seat. If you want work that keeps changing shape, it is.
Why join us?

-
Variety, not routine. This runs closer to project accounting than to a repeating monthly checklist. The work shifts as the business grows
- Acquisition accounting you'll be taught, not screened for. We are actively acquiring, and this team does the integration work: intercompany, opening balance sheets, escrow, entity consolidation. No prior deal experience required
- A real landing spot for audit and transformation backgrounds. If you have worked through complexity in public accounting, transaction services, or a systems or finance transformation, this is a place that puts that experience to use
- Small team, direct access. You work with the CFO, controller, and your manager daily. Nothing filters through four layers
- Growth is stated, not implied. Professional development is funded, and moves into other areas of the business happen when you ask
- Genuine longevity. Your manager has built a 20+ year career here. That is the norm, not the exception
- Flexibility once you're ramped. Hybrid, three days in office, with a flexible team after your training period
- Benefits that land. 6% 401(k) company match, PTO credited 100% upfront, HSA/FSA, paid parental leave, paid volunteer time, license reimbursement, dependent care assistance, full medical/dental/life/disability
