Heavy Equipment Technician Requirements:
- 2+ Years of Diesel, Heavy Equipment, or related repair required
- Own tools required
- Diagnostic / Troubleshooting Experience required
- Welding / Fabrication experience required
- Electrical, and Hydraulic Experience required
- Experience with Ditch Witch, Vermeer, Case, or similar construction equipment preferred

Heavy Equipment Technician Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining underground utility construction and heavy equipment
- Responsibilities include performing inspections, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues, completing preventative maintenance, replacing components, and preparing equipment for customer use
- Additional duties may include equipment diagnostics, welding and fabrication, and warranty repair work
- Work may involve directional drills, trenchers, vibratory plows, vacuum excavators, mini excavators, compact loaders, skid steers, trailers, utility locating equipment, and other underground construction and utility installation equipment
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- As a diesel mechanic you will work in a clean safe environment
