Endura Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Plant and Housekeeping Operations Director to join our dynamic team. Position Title: Plant and Housekeeping Operations Director
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Denver, CO area
Pay: $60,000-$65,000 annually. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience.
Duties
- Lead and manage facilities maintenance teams responsible for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and housekeeping operations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures aligned with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Oversee the management of facilities maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Supervise the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems using schematics, electrical diagrams, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by conducting regular safety audits, training sessions, and enforcing safety regulations across all teams.
- Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs utilizing project management principles to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, and equipment performance for continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships for specialized services such as HVAC system repair or high voltage electrical work while ensuring quality standards are met.
Skills
- Proven management experience overseeing facilities or plant operations with strong team leadership capabilities.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge including troubleshooting engineering issues related to mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in using programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and implementing safety protocols in industrial environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while managing resources effectively.
- Experience managing facilities maintenance teams using CMMS platforms for scheduling and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills in English to clearly convey technical information and collaborate across departments.
- Knowledge of HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems (including low voltage and high voltage), and overall facilities management best practices.
