Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, provide menu assistance, and take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with food preparation to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while upselling menu items to boost sales.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, including bussing tables and cleaning food prep stations.
- Support the team by managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service delivery.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
